When winter arrives and the nights are long, we rediscover those things that we Calellans like so much on cold days, such as the warmth of friends and family, of meetings and conversations in bars and bars in the city.

These are moments that invite us to enjoy good company around a coffee or a good glass of wine, breaks that warm our bodies and comfort our spirits. This is the time of Café Jazz in Calella, the annual live jazz festival that fills us with good vibrations and fills winter evenings that stretch out to the rhythm of music full of feeling, energy and emotion.

Year after year, Calella’s Café Jazz has established itself as one of the town’s most eagerly awaited musical events. Every Friday in February and March you can enjoy jazz sessions in small venues around the town, such as the Sala Mozart bar, the Sublime, the bar La Jaula on the seafront promenade and the Surf & Turf.

Nights of coffee and good music with top artists and emerging talents that make us beat to the beat of the most mestizo and universal sound. Café Jazz invites us to meet friends, acquaintances and visitors from all over the world to discover the best live jazz together and, at the same time, take a break to break up the week.

The relaxed, laid-back atmosphere takes the edge off rushing and nerves, dim lights and conversations that fade away with the first chords of each concert, inviting us to let go and enjoy the moment.
